Default 98 S70 T5M No Power At All Unless Fuse Box Jumped From Positive Terminal

I've noticed the car has been stuttering a little when driving, cutting out and ect. it only does it once in a great while. its like the entire car loses power for a split second, then resumes. my clock also resets, so the car loses all power. she has also been draining the battery, so i have been taking the negative off when i leave the car for more than a few minutes. but tonight when i hooked it up, it still had no power. so i tried jumping it thinking the battery was dead. but it was not. all of the fuses are good. luckily i had a piece of 12 gauge wire in my trunk that i hot wired from the positive of the battery to the fuse box positive. if i do this, the car starts, runs and drives fine, if i take it off the car has no power whatsoever. when i do this the car has the characteristics of a car running without a battery, when i turn on the fan for the heater, or turn on the heated seats, all the lights dim until the alternator kicks up the amperage but this may just be from the small gauge of wire. The car has a full stage 0 with an mbc at 16 psi.

this may be not related to you at all but last week my car suddenly had nothing when I went to start it. I had removed the cables to reset the computer for unrelated issue. when I rehooked up the cables it acted like battery dead or something. I got new battery and went to install and noticed that one of the small cables (actually a few small cables on the + side) that is connected to the main + post had broken off at the connector. I think that went to the fuse box.

probably not your issue but worth a look
