99 S70 AWD won't turn over
'99 S70 AWD about 130K - have had a couple of weeks - hand-me-down (Thanks Mom!) I've noticed the idle was a little low a couple of times on start up. The problem has been that after driving the car, I've shut it off for a few minutes to run an errand and then tried to start it and it's either not turned over or it has caught and then sputtered out. I typically waited a few minutes and then started the car and drove on my way. This happened 5 times over 2 and a half weeks. This morning, she never started back up. My old 850 Turbo had a similar issue that eventually led to fuel pump replacement after changing the fuel pump relay. Am I on the right track? or should I also be concerned with the Electronic Throttle Module and /or the Mass Airflow Sensor, Idle Control valve? Thanks.
The engine is trying to turn over but it seems like it is not getting fuel. I'm going to swap out the fuel pump relay from an 850 I have and if that doesn't work, I'll replace the fuel pump. Does that sound like a reasonable progression?
Thanks
