alternator noise

2000 s70 turbo, I have a ting ting type noise coming from my alternator, is it going bad?

Maybe. Drive until it goes out. Are you 100% sure it's the alternator?

My car is making a noise maybe it is a loose belt, but someone told me it sounds like the alternator?

not sure its the alternator, but a guy up the road owns a alternator rebuild business, and he says the clutch on these go bad, will continue to drive to see if it gets worse
