Default Burned out bulb light, but not really

Ok so one day I get in the car and the idiot light for a burned out bulb comes on. So I looked and my left low beam was out. So I was like WTF.

I turned the dial to DRL's and then back to LOW beam setting and it came back on just fine.

It has done this a few times since that and I do the same thing over again and it comes back on fine.

What could be causing this?

I bet it is a mildly oxidized/corroded socket. Pull the bulb out, clean the terminals and i bet all will be fine.

I can see, but I doubt that is the problem. But thank you though.

You still running the factory light setup?
Meaning the bulbs?
If so maybe the bulb is about to go out.
I see the headlight bulbs do that all the time.
Also the parking lights do the same thing.

I had a tail light bulb doing the same thing. Would come on, then go out making the light on the dash come on intermittently. I finally just replaced the bulb. Got tired of going out and smacking the tail light.

I am running an Apexcone 35w 5000k HID system for my LOW beams.

Still using H-7 bulbs?
Maybe one of the Ballast are bad.
