My mother is thinking of buying a 2000 S70 Se with only 43,000 miles on it from a old couple that we know. My question is how are these cars and should I be looking for anything specific?????

 

Most problems with these cars can be found in the Sticky Threads. Don't get to excited about the low miles. The car is 10 years old and should be checked out like any other 10 year old car. I believe the SE's are turbo. Turbo is not a problem, just should know what you are dealing with. Service records are important, timing belt is important, PCV system replacement is important, other than that, just watch out for wear and tear. Hopefully it has been garaged and it spotless.
