Hello everyone new to the forum hoping to pick up some new info for the volvo. I have a 2000 S70 GLT SE which I love. My center console armrest is peeling the leather any advice on fixing. Would you just have it re-appolstered or if you were to buy a new one where would you go to get it. and thats another question for you seasoned volvo owners whats the best online place to buy parts for my volvo.. Thanks for any replies.. Eric

 

hey someone is selling one on volvospeed.com w/ two cupholders in it. If you dont like that one I would go on ebay or contact your local volvo wrecking yards for a replacement.

If you find one in a salvage car they're pretty easy to switch out. I have a '96 850 that had two broken cup holders and I found a salvaged '99 S70. It's basically the same part on both cars. The cup holders in the S70 are a tad smaller than the 850's, but two small ones are better than two big broken ones. The leather doesn't match perfectly, but the slightly darker leather makes an interesting motif. So the 850's would probably be a more common salvage yard find, so If you do search around, bring a tool set and look for either an 850 or S70.
