why doesnt my key come out of my egnition

ok im pissed my key will not come out of the egnition and yes i have tried to move the steering wheel

Assuming you have an automatic tranny, check and make sure the shifter button is not stuck pushed in. Also make sure the car is all the way in park.

+1. Shifter button gets stuck in a little so you have to make sure it popps all the way out (or pull it out), While it's in park and it will come out.

thank you for the suggestion i hhad tried that multiple times but as it turned out it was the sift lock overide butten that was jammed down i hate stupid friends that come into my car and just start pressing **** lol.
