Engine stumbles and vibrates in gear
Hello all My 1998 2WD S70 is having two problems.
1) Engine vibrates when in gear at idle. The vibration is a fast buzzing vibration like an electric shaver. Motor mounts have been replaced. Runs smooth at speed and in netural or park.
2) Engine "stumbles". Best explanation of the "stumble" is if you turned the key on and off real fast and let it catch itself and continue running. It mostly happens at an idle and rear but sometimes while at speed.
It also has the clunking in the right front strut area if anyone has good links for part numbers and repair steps.
Thanks, I am new here. Years ago I was a Snap On Tool Dealer and mechanic. Been out of the loop

Several of the most recent post here are about these cars missing. Read those threads.
There are several write ups about the clunking as well, just do a search. The 850 section is also useful for S70 problems since they are basically the same car.
