Fan turns on after car starts/ p0102 cel

I have a 99 s70 2.4 awd, 150,000 this car seems to hate me. I just replaced the maf sensor because I was getting a p0101 cel (I belive that was it) and the car could barely get out of the driveway, literally overnight. Ran great-not at all practically. I put the new one in and the car starts really hard then stumbles back down on rpm's then back up to normal and runs fine.
Noticed after the initial test drive when I turned off the car the fan would kick on. I decided to pull the two connectors for the fan and it turns off. Then I disconnected the + battery cable as well to reset the ecu. Plugged everything back together and the fan doesn't come back on. Until I drive the car again and turn the car off. Now today after a 20 min drive I get a p0102 code for the maf....again. I'm not sure if they are related, but it's extremely weird to me.

I'm thinking that the problem is due to I possibly bought the wrong maf. If I unplug it the car is easily driveable, with it plugged in I can barely get tha car out of the driveway. Could the wrong maf cause my fan to turn on?
Problem is I threw away the Bosch one that was on the car and I didn't right down the number on it So now I don't know what to get. Anyone know the number for the bosch's that i need?
99 s70 awd

FIXED!!!
Just in case anyone else has the problem here was my solution and it easily could have been avoided.
I bought the wrong MAF for my car and didn't realize it until after I had thrown the original bosch away. Write down those numbers before you do what I did. Ever since I've put the new maf in with the correct part # the car has no check engine lights, no fan turning on after the car is turned off or anything. I was suprised to see a maf could cause so much havoc with other electrical components.
