My 99 v70 abs starting leaking. I looked on ebay and saw from the fitment guide that 98 to 2004 were suppose to fit. I bought one at pull and save and found that the motor on mine has the two wires outside and two plugs. The one I got has one larger plug and hidden wires.

The questions i have are;

Can I install the hydraulic part and use the car with out the electric plus in?
Do you think I could cut the plug off my car and use the plug from the newer one plug unit? Probably risky in if it didn't work I have made a mess. I have not counted the individual wires to see if there were extra wires or not.
Should I keep looking for the two plug kind. My feelings are that then I chance another leaker. The one I did buy looks good and came from a nice looking car. So less chance of it leaking.
Bottom line are these cars driveable with out the abs connected?
