Vacuum leaks can be difficult to find without removing the air induction hoses/pipes. I suggest that you perform a thorough inspection, starting by removing the air intake system. On 2 occasions, I located leaks/holes on the underside of hoses, closest to the engine, where they were exposed to high temps.
Good luck and let us know what (if anything) you find.

Hi GMurphy thanks for the reply, ive been busy this weekend, ive checked all hoses and could not find any leaks, could you be more specific on what hoses you found on yours Thanks. The following is what i have done to the S70. Bought it on April of 2012 noticed problem one month later.
1. Replaced spark plugs (volvo oem) Does not like Bosch plugs
2. Replaced lower torque trans mount and upper engine mounts.
3. Flused trans fluid mobil atf 3309
4. Replaced ABS module check engine light code P0500
5. Replaced serpintine belt
6. Replaced rotors and pads all four
7. Replaced fuel filter with bosch
8. Replaced thermastat and engine coolant temp sensor
9. Checked fule pressure checked ok.
Can't do much more to it been unemployed for some time know, the car runs great just that hesitation that i get bothers me so hope i can fix it.

I'd go ahead and clean the MAF. Did wonders for my Echo which had a bad bogging problem under load. Ran smooth with no idle problems, accelerated OK as long as it was done gently. But run the go-pedal much further down, there was hesitation. Would scarcely maintain 60mph. Had a P0420 and P0171 code...natch, since a/c puts extra load on the engine it WILL exacerbate the problem.
...cleaned off MAF, saw MPG jump and car runs flawlessly.
