Default How to remove hvac duct cover please ...

Hi there.

please can someone tell me the right way to remove the hvac duct cover ( <- most certainly wrong name for this... ) in the center dash.
The picture shows some flaps being disconnected for the ****. I would like to see if I can fix this .
thank you.

I saw a write up on MVS that shows it and says that they just pry out. There are 2 screws below and inside the duct for removing the dash pad. Try searching a write up on dash pad removal.

Point the vent luvers down, look into the luvers with a flash light, if you see any screws in there, remove the screws and pull it out. If you don't see screws, it will pull out.

Will have to pry it (carefully) out; but if you don't want to damage your dash, suggest you get yourself IPD's bone tool; these things are great!
