Default How To Remove Stereo??

Hi guys,

I just bought a Sirius sat. radio and I tried to remove the stereo to plug in the FM Modulator box, but could not figure out for the life of me how to get the stereo out. I have an automatic '98 S70, and it seems to be very well built as I removed a million torx screws and still couldn't get the stereo out. Any diagrams/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thnx.

Near the bottom left and right are two handles that you push in gently with a screwdriver or similar item. They pop out and then you just slide the unit out and unhook the connectors. Here is a picture of one with the handles out.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VOLVO...QQcmdZViewItem

yeah just push those two handles in and they will pop out. Its actaully a pretty easy radio to take out.

Thnx for the help. I must have spent 2 hours taking out every screw I could find and trying to take the whole dash apart. I'll take it out tomorrow.
