Default Instrument cluster not working

New here, first volvo, a 1998 Volvo s70. It runs well but the abs light is on and none of the gauges work. They worked intermittently for a few days and now not at all. We are in the process of getting a new abs module but I'm not sure that is the only problem. Does the abs module control the gas gauge and the temp gauge? What else could cause the gauges to not work? We checked the fuses and all seem fine.
Any ideas will be helpful.

Might be a ground issue or a module. I would suggest doing an online search to see if you can find a wiring diagram. THen trace the wire for the gauges and look for a common point. Hope this helps.
