Smile Interchangeable coil springs?

Does anyone know if you can put the rear coil springs from a 240 on an S70?

Thanks,

Eric

a simple answer is not likely. To be more precise you'd need to note the year/model of the 240 (since they came with like 3 different rear springs (sized by diameter). Assuming you mean a 1998 to 2000 S70, they are based on the FWD platform which is totally different from the RWDs. Its possible the S70 can match up to an 850 or V70 or C70 since they are the same platform. To match to other car models you'd need to know the spring rate (stiffness), height, coil diameter and whether its progressive. The only thing to do with the S70 is look to see if it has Nivomats or standard shock/springs.

Default thanks

Good to know. Thanks. It sounds like a bad idea. I'm glad I checked with the forum first.
