Hello all!
A week ago, getting on the highway one morning I noticed that my transmission couldnt decide if it wanted to lock into top gear or not. I assume most of you know what I mean when I say lock-in gear. That is what the owners manual call it when moving at apeed in top gear, and the transmission locks in and the rpms drop some to inprove fuel economy. My rpms would lower, then raise as the tranny moved in and out of lock. Been doing it a few mornings this week. Has anyone experienced this before?

No, just replaced tranny 10k ago. Topped off fluid still have problem. My cruise control has also been failing intermittently. Perhaps the problems are related? Bad stop light switch maybe?
