I lost one of the keys to my 1999 S70 AWD. I have the key fob, just the key was lost.

1. Is the key chipped?
2. Does the key have to be programmed by the dealer?
3. Ace hardware by my home has a sign now that says they do chipped keys. will that work?

• The key is not chipped.
• You will have to go to the stealer to get one.
• It is cut from a computer I think, you don't need one to get one cut.
• You will have to show proof of ownership for them to cut you a key.
• My stealer charges $65 for a key so I ordered one from another stealer from another town and had them mail it to me for $38.
