Default Lower dash panel, drivers side...

The lower dash panel on the drivers side of my daughter's car has finally fallen down. It was in poor condition when we got the car but it was at least holding up.

Does anyone have a good solution to this sad situation?

I'm not sure if the panel is bad or the dash.

The one in my sons car is loose but still hanging on. I've heard some guys put a couple self tapping screws in from the side. Shows a bit when the door is open.

Ours had a screw in the side, that has now failed. I should have the car in a few days, I'll figure something out then.

Mine failed a while back, kept falling. When i looked closely at it, i discovered the only thing wrong with it was that the top part of the screw hole had broken thus not allowing the set screw to hold it up. I just put a washer behind the screw and cinched it up tight and its been holding for over a year now.

Mine too, but it's the slots in the lower dash that are broken.

Were you able to find a fix? I have the same issue & didn't want to buy a new dash panel.
