Thumbs down Drivers side Low Beam Doesn't work but Passenger side does

Well this just happened recently just noticed that my drivers side headlight was out..So changed the bulb and nothing. Checked fuses. All good. What am I missing here? Has anybody else had this issue? I did a search but didn't really find much there.

I have seen a few cars where the CEM went bad causing the issue.

CEM???

What would that have to do with the headlights, but the high beam still does work on that side.

The CEM is the main computer for the car and the headlights run though it.

Well thanks for the input.

Here is what happened last night....turned the switch on for the lights the passenger side came on and then started to back out ( 8 feet or so ) and the drivers side came back on...then a second later Both went completely out. Now I have no headlights what so ever. Think I will change the computer out but first I need to know the part number and where it is located?

please help, need car for work

If you remove the lower dash panel under the steering wheel then you can see it. After the cover is off look to the left side. There is a black box with like 4 or 5 plugs. It also has a metal bracket that helps hold it in to the dash. Get it loose and check the part number on it. There is a few different ones.

Ok well I checked fuses and bulbs....still nothing so looks like CEM might be the way to go. Just a quick question. What about the switch?

You can pop the switch out and test for power. The power goes from the switch to the CEM then to the headlights.
