The V70 R in 98 was rated at 236 HP. Not sure of the T5 as far as HP, but thought it was less than that. The GLT is definitely LPT and T5's and R's have HPT. The R's have AWD in 98.

Personally I would go for the T5 instead of the R for 1998. I don't see the need for the AWD. In 96 and 97, go for the 850 R either wagon or sedan.

Yeah, I think the same, i mean here where i live it doesnt snow, so there's no point for AWD. The T5 i will go see it today(Hopefully) But Jim is S70TURBO1999 right about the HP? and if its a HPT?

Yes he is right about it being a High Pressure Turbo, but I'm not certain about the HP. I just looked up one on AutoTrader and pulled the model info and it said 236 HP for the T5. By the way the T5 had '53' as the 6th and 7th position of the VIN for the 99 model year.

Just post the Vin# that is at the bottom of the windsheild on the Dash. Or get it from the Door Jam.

That white in your sig is SOOO SEXY. I am debating on getting a white 850r or a saffron s70r. Really a ahrd descision. Unfortuantly i can't afford both because i am only 17.
