I haven't been able to find it already on the forum, but isn't there a simple test to check if your MAF is good or not? Something about if the car idles the same without the MAF connected as with it connected then it's bad?

 

Usually if it is bad and the car is running like crap and you unplug it and it runs better the MAF is bad.

 

on most cars, if you block the return gas line and it runs better, it's a good sign that the maf is going bad.
