Default Meet my new S70!

My '96 850 GLT wagon is having PCV and head gasket issues (not crippling yet). So I've been keeping an eye out for a newer used Volvo and just had to jump on this one.

It's a '98 GLT with 101,000 miles. It need a few things. PCV, possible RMS leakage—haven't gotten under there yet—and some various cosmetic and interior quarks to work out. I will say this: if you have the caked in gunk inside the tiny grooves on the interior trim, use a magic eraser. Wow is all I can say. The interior is in very good shape, and at some point the leather in just the seat part of the driver's seat was replaced with fresh leather.

Very excited to have this as a daily driver!

Thanks you sir!

A few more pics, and a temporary solution to a distracting problem.

Here's my fix for the floppy sun visor.

Two alligator clips, about $3, works both ways in case you actually want to use it to block sun.

I put a velcrow strip on one that held good for a while.
