hello, i have red 1998 s70 glt and i thought it would be sick if i would tint headlights, taillights, and windows all around. the only problem is i have no idea how it is done. if anyone knows how, than please tell me. thanks!!!

My only question is... Why are you trying to tint the headlights when your also trying to sell this car?

I moved your FS thread of the FS section by the way.

However if you want to tint them... VHT Nightshades can do the trick. Also there was a site floating around that offered some different colored films to tint your headlights. Do a GOOGLE search for it.

 

i am planning on driving it till someone buys it. i dont plan on selling it in a week or a months or so. i like the car myself.

No I didn't delete it, that is why I said moved to the FS section.

Also did you not see my suggestions? VHT Nightshades and or look for the colored films that might still be available online.

 

There are also tinting sprays for the lights. Some people have used them with mixed results. Also, check to make sure it is legal to tint your lights in the state in which you live. I know in some states it's illegal.

 

Don't tint your headlights, that's like kinda dangerous, and I wouldn't tint your brake lights, do what you can, but be courteous to other drivers. Also, if you are doing this on a car that is for sale, tinting your light covers will probably shrink your possible buyers significantly. Older people aren't going to want a car that appears to have been driven by a kid.
