My daughter trapped her only key to her S70 between the trunk lid and the trunk deck. Ultimately I cant get to the key, the trunk release on the drivers door does not work, I hear it click but not opening. I can get into the trunk through the back seat but then what do I do? Is there a release? Any help would be greatly appreaciated... Thank you.

There is no release you will end up having to remove the plastic cover to access the striker on the bottom to unscrew it.

Or you might be able to remove the trunk inside panel and get in there and find something like the key rod to move to open it.

 

Try pulling up slightly or pushing down some while running the trunk release?
