Hi! I recently bought a 98 S70, and four hours after driving it off the lot the 'check engine' light came on. I took it back and they claimed it had something to do with the gas cap. They 'fixed' it, but just last night the light came on again after having the car back for a day. I did a little resaerch, it could be code 611 or 4308, which are related to that problem. Now, being a woman, I wont be able to tell if they are jacking me around, or if I'm just unlucky. So, if anyone has any suggestions, I would appriciate them. Thanks for you time.

Try to find out which code it was.
It might be a bad gas cap or a pinhole in a hose for the evap system.
Take it back again and see what they say.
If you need any advise come here first after you talk to them and we will help you the best we can.
