Question New s70 owner with a lot of questions

What's up everybody? New volvo 1998 s70 owner here and I have a lot of questions. I am going to keep them all here instead of starting multiple threads.
First off, I believe the car is a t5, but the previous owner must have changed the wheels since they are 15", and it even gives specs inside the fuel door about 15" wheels. I thought the t5 only comes with 16" wheels.. There is no spec sticker on the passenger side of the engine, but the one under the hood above the coolant tank says it's a 2.3 as a t5 should be

Also, the 6th and 7th digits in the vin are 53. From what information I have gathered is that 53 means t5. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a few dash switch lights out and one on the cluster, I wanted to change them to red/orange and get of the old man green lights. I know its possible, but will it also change the green rectangular box where the miles show on the dash?

Another thing I found was a disconnected line or hose. It looks like a small hard plastic hose. It runs from near the hood latch(passenger side) towards the turbo and ends there at a black rubber 90°bend

Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks

I assume they dont make 1 piece headlights for this car, are C70 jewels, the black IPD projectors, and the black or chorme(looks cheap and ricey to me) ABM projectors my only options?

Hi, I believe that is a T5 and the black hose you are referring to may be a hose that redirects cool air into the engine. I have the same thing. About the replacement lights on the dash, I ordered led's that are coming in today so I can get back to you on if the miles has its own LED. From what I've seen online, I am pretty sure it does.

I kind of got lost with all the pictures. Your emissions tag shows the engine as a 5234T which a "57" in the VIN ( You can google "Volvo S70 VIN decoder" to find the wiki). Are you asking where the vacuum line / elbow terminates? Kind of hard to tell exactly which tube you are holding from the picture, but you should be able to find the "B" end by looking around based on length and angle of the line. Some lines end up under the intake manifold or other parts so you may need to use a mirror to inspect. By the color, I'd be looking for the solenoid valve as the B end.

Take a look at the pics in this thread: Help with some vacuum hose routing
