Default Oil pan o rings replacement question

Hi Folks,

I'm half way through changing the O rings in the oil pan using the instructions placed on here by tech. (due to low oil pressure message at low rpms)

I bought the O ring kit from Volvo and it came with these gaskets. What in the world are they for?? I found the 5 O rings I need to replace but have no idea where the 4 gaskets go that were included in the kit. I got the pan off right now, so I was wondering if anyone has any idea before I put it all back together again? Tech?

Is your car a turbo car?
The kit is a kit for all 5 and 6 cylinder motors.
The gaskets are for replacing the turbo return line o-ring and gasket.
The gaskets are only used for that.

If it is a Non-turbo it will only use 3 o-rings and that's all.
It will use the pick up tube one and the 2 for the oil pan.

Cool! That explains that. I shall replace the Oil Pan right now then.

The O rings were indeed brittle and just fell off when I removed the pipes. Hopefully, this will do it.

Thanks Tech.
