Hi, My S70 passenger side rear door is unopenable. The lock button pops up and down with the central locking, but either from in/outside you are unable to open the door. Its like a rod or something is disconnected inside the door panel. Can I access the door panel with the door shut. Thanks

 

Sorry to say but that is usually a bad door lock assembly. There is plastic parts that break internally. Usually the door panel gets trashed as well.

 

So its a matter of:-
-Obtain new/used trim panel
-Trash current panel to gain access
-Fix problem and trim......

You will have to replace the lock once you get in there.

I have been able to get a few off without trashing them good luck.
