Default Rear seat backrest removal.

Ok Im trying to switch my volvo s70 old torn seats with a set of leather ones, Ive already installed to 2 front seats and I removed the rear cushion but im having an extremely hard time removing the rear backrests. Ive tried pulling the mounting clips upwards while pushing with a screwdriver from underneath but Ive had no luck. Ive tried pulling it, pushing it, twisting it but nothing seems to get it out. Any tips or instructions on how to remove the rear backrests? any help will be greatly appreciated.

I believe you have to push the seat towards the outside of the car (this is the seat back you are referring to). There are clips on the outer pivots that are like springs. You have to compress the clips and then pull the seat back straight out. I usually have to wedge my knee into the side of the seat and pull from under to get them out. It is a bit of a pain.
