Hey all,

How accessible is the catalytic converter on the '98 S70 T5?
Were is it located on the exhaust system, Near the manifold or further back?

Here in South Africa, we only charge Emissions taxes on NEW cars, so I'm not worried. There is no law against removing it off an older car either.

Is there a visual representation of the entire exhaust system online anywhere?
I would like to remove it ASAP with out having to purchase an entire exhaust system.

Just remove it and replace it with a straight pipe, although you will get a "check engine" light since the O2 sensor will be getting a different reading now.
