Question s70 help pls

i just bought a 1998 s70 for 500$ and was wondering what I should do about my drivers side door, it makes a loud bag/pop when its closed/open. Also my seat belt is locking up all the time, do i just need a new seat belt assembly?

Thank you,
S70godlol

the popping noise is a broken mount where the door limiter is attached to the body. This can be re-welded by a welding shop relatively easily. Seat belt is not serviceable and would have to be replaced with either a new one or used one. Use caution replacing these - they are a pyrotechnic style seatbelt

Yes, that popping is a common problem as they get some miles on them. You can unbolt the door limiter and then do nothing if you want. That will eliminate the sound, and it also stops the door, but you lose the detents that hold the door open or half open. I have a welder, so I always fix them.
