hello i dont know much about volvo's. my soon to be mother has a 98 or 99 s70 and i was wanting to get her some body parts to put on when the time is needed, mainly the rocker panel cover . i was really wanting to know if late model 850 parts would fit. in my eyes the two look identical can anyone help? thankyou

 

The sheet metal is mostly different between the S70 and the 850. The rocker panel cover MIGHT work, but that would be about it. As for mechanical parts, most 850 parts interchange with those of the 98 S70, in 99 they made major drivetrain changes.
