The vinyl on the inner door panels on my 1999 S70is pulling away from the panel. I have already replaced the front panels, which I got from the dealership. Now this same thing is happening to the rear panels and the dealership hasdoubled the price over the past year. Can anyone suggest a source for new or remanufactured door panels at a reasonable price? Thanks.

 

DNC the most obvious place to look (and I guess the cheapest) would be the local junk yards. Other than that try some of the places listed on the Volvo resources thread in the S70 forum. It is one of the few pinned threads at the top of the forum. I have the same problem and have posted a thread about it. Some people have responded with some fixes. When you ordered new front panels can I ask what you had to order? was it just the bit around the switches and door pull (where the vinyl/leather is) or was it the whole door panel?

Thanks for your response. I did try the sponsors first but no one carried the panels or knew where to referred. I have been told junk yards aren't the answer as their door panels will likely do the same as the ones I have since they are the same age. I have been told to only purchase new or reconditioned panels.
When I purchased the front door panels the order was for the entire door panel without switches or the opening handle. I did have to cut out those openings which was very easy. The panels even came with replacement instructions.
