Default S70 Reliability

in general, are volvos reliable? i think they are but why not ask. i wanna get a 98 s70 cus its sexy,and its not too slow.

Yes they are for the most part reliable.Make sure you get a 98 because 99--> have electronic throttle modules and you dont want that.One main thing that goes wrong with them is the evaperators go bad for the a/c.When it happens it will cost about 1200-1500 from the dealer to fix.Im not sure what indipendant shops charge.There is a lot of work to change the dash has to come out to fix it.For the most part they respond pretty well to mods.
