S70 T5 starting issue?

For the past week when i try to start my car it will turn over and turn on for about a second, then it drops rpms and dies. If i immediately try to start it right after it starts up fine.

things i have done to it in the last month are ipd's intake, and i have replaced the PCV system and started putting 91 octane in about 2 weeks ago. Also the TCV is going out (check engine light is on for it) but i just got a new one and am replacing that today..

So any ideas on what it could be?..

Thanks in advance!!

I would check for vacuum leaks. I had this issue with my S60R and it was a loose intake hose. If you disconnect the MAF and it starts right up and stays running, it is definitely this issue.

K well i replaced my TCV with IPD's HD-TCV and boot in a boost gauge, i took off my MAF and turned the car on but it would not start..

also now i am getting the code P0236 (turbo/super charger boost sensor A circuit range/performance)..

so my question, could one of the 3 line that come from the TCV be leaking? i did not put new ones on when i put the new TCV on, and could that cause this issue?

or could it have anything to do with the vac line that comes out of the intake.. if so how would i check to see if thats it?

or could i just need to clean the connection on the MAF?

Thanks for the help!!!

mine was stalling on startup but wasn't dropping any codes and it turned out to be the fuel pump relay going out.

easy way to test whether it is or not with a paperclip.

K well also, when i step on the gas (not hard) feel like my car loses power for a split second.. could that be related to the fuel pump relay also?..
