Default SNAAB Intake tube question

I got this and the pvc kit back in December. going to do both at same time.

I noticed on the snaab site they charged $40 for some extra part.

What is it and what will I need to do or get to install this that is not already with it when bought?

I guess they either changed something or I got my intake mixed up with another long time ago.

I got the intake and my pcv kit same time. all of it still in the box. I havnt really looked at it so the $40 charge may not apply to me at all.

I have read some fitment issues on one of the other forums.

the $40 charge is so that they can modify and install a new PTC for you into the air pipe, otherwise you will need to do some surgery on your PTC to make it fit.

in case you were still wondering.

Bingo! It's not to hard to do the modification though. I

Like Nichals said, is the part of your PCV system that sticks into the intake.
Once you look at the instructions from Snabb, you'll know exactly what were talking about.

The install is a bit of a PITA but I didn't have any fitment issues when I did the install on my 850R.

PTC ..... In the intake tube connected to the PCV black box by the vacuum lines. It's where the crankcase vapors get sucked into the intake ahead of the turbo to be burned.
