alright ladies and gentlemen, im stumped. i just purchased a 98 s70t, and ive got a lighting problem. two, in fact, that MAY be related. my tail lights dont turn on unless i flip my fog light switch. then the two inner ones turn on. the brake lights work fine regardless, as do the markers and signals. The second part of my quandary is this; i have no dash lights at all (excepting, of course, the warning lights.) Finally, the car has what i consider to be fairly mild rear end damage. i.e: it only bent the brackets, and hardly touched the frame. should i be looking to condemn a switch? a shorted ground? being a veedub guy, im a little lost, but i love the car, and could really use the input.

 

Main light switch is likely bad.
