Timng Belt Change for '99 S70
I am a lucky man. My '99 S70's tiing belt tensioner exploded and we caught it before doing any damage to the engine. Now, I am setting out to change the tensioner, idler, belt, and water pump.
I have downloaed the pics from volvospeed bay 13, but they are for an 850 with a different type of tensioner and a different cam shaft sprocket cover (see pic below). Here are my questions:
How do I tension/detension the TB tensioner?
The newer cam shaft sprocket cover has two notches located above each sprocket. Are these alignment marks?
