Default Transmission flush dilemma

I've got a 1998 S70 GLT with 62,000 miles on it. It's coming due for another transmission service. I did a drain and fill at 34,000 miles with Pennzoil Multi-Vehicle ATF (synthetic). My shop that I take it to has the BG flush system, which first runs a cleaning agent through it, then flushes the fluid via the coolant hoses. I'm real paranoid about running any cleaning agents through it. Has anyone had any experience with theirs with this system. I'd love to hear your comments.

I would not do it personally. I would just flush with fluid with no cleaning agent. Make sure you use the right fluid for that car too.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking but my mechanic says he does those all the time and has never had a problem. What I may do is make him drain out the crappy fluid after he runs the cleaning agent first, replace what drains out, then run the flush.

I wouldn't use the cleaners.

Does anyone think it's good practice to drain out as much fluid as possible first, replace what is drained out, then running the flush?
