Hey, I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the 'power' in the trunk going out. The trunk itself is fine but when i lift it up it wont hold itself up. I looked at the (hydrolic hinges?) and they look fine, not bent or damaged looking. I was kind of thinking that maybe the internals of the 2 have gone bad but I dont know anything about them.

Btw, this is the heaviest trunk I have ever seen, lol.

EDIT: Also, sometimes my antenna doesn't go all the way up(about 75%). It never has a problem going back down though. Is this the mast going out or is there some time of lube I could place on it?

I have never had the issue with the "power" going out. The trunk not holding itself up sounds like the Struts for the trunk. (not to be confused with the suspension struts, rather what you call the hydrolic hinges). The trunk is extremely heavy so the struts tend to need replacing.

For your antenna, to got www.ipdusa.com and look for the replacment antenna. Its a very easy replacement. DONT buy from the dealer, you will pay double the price that IPD charges.The antenna, antenna mast, and suspension strut mounts seem to be the mostcommonly and often replaced parts on these cars.

Also try FCP Groton for the mast. They may have it cheaper then IPD.
