Exclamation volvo s70 sunroof help!!!

hi guys my sunroof fell off while driving today and im in a rush to find a new one. i was wondering if a 2000 model sunroof will fit on my 1998 model. if anyone is near toronto,on and knows a good deal for one please let me know asap. thanks guys.

They should be the same. I believe the 850's fit as well.

Hey bud, do you know any good mechanics around toronto? I know a good guy I can send you to him around scarborough he might be able to help you out.

Let me know.

yea i do, are you looking just for repairs or upgrades and stuff like that?

No I have one I'm happy with, I was saying if you don't I have a good one to send you to. Did you fix your sunroof?

How did your sunroof fall off? lol, i'm picturing you hauling a$$ down the highway and "pop" there goes the sunroof lol

well what had happened before is that the front tracks had broken off and wouldn't close properly except by pushing it down from the outside. so i thought that it was in good and everything. was driving around for 3 months after the front tracks broke. but the day of it was really windy and i guess some air got under it and just broke it off completely. thank god no one was near me a the the time.

just bought a sunroof yesterday for $100 which was a great price. the only problem is that to install it the entire roof from the inside has to come off so i cant do it by myself so im bringing it to a new mechanic. he said its gonna cost around $200 for everything. lets see how it goes.

Good luck with it! Dont be surprised if the old, brittle plastic trim ring breaks during the installation. I need to re-glue the headliner on my sunroof.
