My volov will crank and turn over but will not hold idle, ive had the MAF recently replaced, a week or so before it died I ran out of gas. Can anyone tell me why this might be happening and how to fix it. My car has a lot of miles

If you ran it out of gas there's a good chance you fried the fuel pump. Ck the fuel pressure and go from there.
