Default Volvo speedometer PROBLEMS

1. My speedometer works about 10% of the time, it will randomly choose to work or not work.

Is there some kind of sensor I can replace to fix this problem or would I need to replace the speedometer.

Yes it will if the module is bad it can cut the speedo signal.

Default Mine too.

Just changed the ABS Module on my 1998 S70 and the speedo didn't register anything and zeroed the trip meter.
I take it this an issue with volvos' then?

Having just replaced the ABS Module and Pump, I find that the speedo won't work............this has been discussed and it would seem the signal is being blocked by the module.
Can the module be to blame for uneven or rough running. i.e. a higher tickover speed, slow or sluggish acceleration. It feels like fuel starvation or something amiss with the air intake.
Cheers,
Lee

Did you put a new or used module on the car? If a used one that used one might be bad as well.

The ABS module will not cause an odd idle.
