Where does this plug go? 99 S70 AWD

My car recently had the radiator replaced with a brand new one. I drove around for 2 weeks with no problems at all, but I can't remember if I was stopped for more than 5 minutes at one time.

This week I drove more than my commute and on a 102 deg day I took a 100 mile trip to school on the way back home waiting in construction, i realized my temp gauge was about 80% to the red, once we started moving going about 5mph it kept climbing, I quickly pulled over before it hit the red, but there was a lot of coolant puking from the reservoir. Waited an hour, filled it back up with water and got her home, then while slowly driving up my street the car did it again. I never noticed the fan running and at higher speeds above 40 it stays nice and cool.

Today I noticed this when I decided to see whats wrong. I hooked up battery to the fan and it does work good, its just not turning on I believe. I took off the small cover that holds the 35amp fuses (which look good) and noticed this plug(below) not conncected to anything where does it go? I cant find it. Is this the problem possibly? Any ideas of what my problem is?

Well, first of all, please tell us a little about your car.

Then, why did you have the radiator changed in the first place? Did it burst? Over heat and crack? Just leaking a little? What was the deal?

As for your fan, if you start the car, turn the AC on, the fan should come on within 10 seconds. If it doesn't, something is wrong.

As for the plug, it looks pretty clean compared to the rest of the stuff near it so it was likely plugged into something. I do not have our S70 here so I can't tell you right off, however, are all of the fan wires connected? Even the ground?

There is a chance that your thermostat is bad and should be replaced. I would replace it first, my fan doesn't come on that often.

It was replaced because it had a slight I mean very slight leak. No overheating before or anything. I will try the ac thing and see if that works. I can't find the other end of that plug. Hopefully someone can tell me.:)

There are no check engine lights, but there is a service light that i can't seem to get rid of. Also there is a lamp light on, but I think that is due to the fact the two corner lights are falling out.(tabs broke that hold it in).

Car runs fine.
