You should test the power going to and from the switch to see if there is power going to the other windows, if there is check between the door and body of the car on the driver's side to see if there's a broken or a frayed wire inside of the door
You may also want to test the lead to the window motor with a test light to see if it's getting power to it.
If it is then chances are you would need a new window motor.
Here's a video that will show you how to remove the driver's side door panel, if you need to get in there. Hope this helps you out.

alternator
One more thing Tony, I just noticed that my battery is not staying charged. I assume it may be the alternator or the battery is bad. If it is the alternator, how hard is that to change out. I think I located it and it looks like I have to mover the power steering reservoir to get to it. Is this true or am I totally off?
