2000 s80 won’t turn over

Sounds like you have an issue with the PNP sensor - essentially telling the computer the car is not in park or neutral. Two quick things to try: 1) do a shifter row - key in position 1 to unlock steering etc, foot on brake and shift from Park to Lo to Park 10-20 times fast. Idea is this should scuff up the contacts in the PNP sensor enough to get the proper shifter positioning signal to the computer. 2) jiggle the key to see if that gets the shifter lights to come on when you are in key position 2 or 3. its possible that you may have a wonky ignition switch. If you have had any recent spill events (coffee/soda etc) on the console, you may need to open it up and see if you need to clean any connections etc in the shifter.
