Hello Im looking to do an engine swap 2.9l natural to 2.9l natural both cars are 2001 s80's one is wrecked other car is a cherry. Im not totally familiar with vovlos Im guessing I need the engine, computer, and speedo from donor car, problem is the speedo was sold for parts?? Any body know the cost to reprogram these Or if its totally required to make this swap? I may be able to purchase back from buyer nothing for sure though. Donor car has 59K miles blown engine cherry car has 84K miles , anything else I may need to know about this swap, Just FYI im a mechanic with correct tools for the job and have swapped many engines/ trannys before just never a Volvo engine. thanks for the help
