2001 S80 T6 Trouble Starting - Idles/Drives Fine
Hi All,
I just picked up a 2001 S80 with 150KM on it ($1500 CAD, I know, it was a steal).
It's having issues starting up(3-5 times cranking with the key before starting) but once it starts it idles completely fine and drives great.
I was told it was showing a p0447 (EVAP Caster S/O Valve) and p1238 (Turbo Flow Too High), but when getting it home and running my scanner it's pulling just a p0014 code (advanced timing) but it's not really adding up to me. Timing belt was just changed and the timing looks fine. Other work done prior to this issue:
Cam Sensor
Crank Sensor
Turbo Sensor
Spark Plugs
It smells like gas when trying to get it started, not sure if a fuel pump/delivery issue? Or A/F ratio problem due to the below:
One of the hoses on the Turbo Solenoid (I believe?) is just hanging loose and not connected to anything, I've done a quick search and not sure where all the hoses are supposed to be connected, or is one supposed to be open to atmosphere?
Any insight would be much appreciated!
Cheers,
Kev
