Default 2001 S80 t6 weird issues

I tried searching but couldn't find anything that sounded like my issues
my 01 s80 t6 stalls/pulses and sometimes dies when coming to a stop or accelerating from a stand still.
I have no clue what it is. I have no CEL. There is some turbo pressure lines that might be hooked up wrong. Also could the turbo control solenoids be bad? Any input helps thanks

Your 2001 has the all will fail Magnetti Maerelli (sp) throttle module. When was yours replaced?

A good first step would be to scan all the control units with a compatible scanner. A good scanner can test the throttle module also.

I have a scanner tool I don't know if it will scan the module, also is the throttle module just the throttle body or is there a difference.
thanks for the reply

You can find throttle module codes in the ECM and the CEM (maybe other places also) A new throttle module requires a software download using VIDA to work. Xemodex is a good source for rebuilt throttle modules. And the part number pictured below is for illustration only - that is probably not the correct part number for your car.

On that engine - (01t6) the plastic pipe that is over the top of the engine from the turbos to the intercooler will crack near where the 2 small pipes join the main body of the pipe and create an air leak. That can cause funny running problems - but if the crack is big enough, will cause a check engine light for fuel trim. You should check fuel trims to see if it thinks it's too rich or lean.
