I just purchased a 02 s80 last month used and last week when i went to start it after driving approx. 25 miles it took me 3 tries to get it to start and now today it won't start at all. I put it on a charger, but still wouldn't start, so i tried to jump it with another car, nothing. Can anyone PLEASE help me?

 

if the car doesnt nothing, no clicking or anything, look down at the display in the instrament cluster, see if it says "'immobilizer see manual"' if it does then you need a new Scan Ring, it scans the chip in the key. very simply replacement, and only about 50$
